Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using violajoke.com (the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide an accurate email address, and you must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Free and premium access

Without premium, you can view a limited number of jokes per day and use the free tools. Premium is a one-time payment for lifetime access to the premium features described on the Premium page. It is not a subscription and will not auto-renew.

“Lifetime” means for as long as the Service continues to operate. We may add, change or withdraw individual premium features over time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

Premium is granted to a single account and is for personal use. Please do not share, resell or transfer your access. Gift purchases are intended for the named recipient.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's own terms. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change; the price displayed at checkout is the price you pay. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Backstage Mode

Backstage Mode contains adult-oriented humour. It is a premium feature intended for users aged 18 and over. By enabling it you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to view such content.

6. Submitted content

When you submit a joke you confirm that you have the right to share it. You keep ownership of what you submit, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, reproduce and adapt it on the Service and in related promotion.

Submissions are reviewed before publication. We may edit, decline or remove any submission at our discretion, including anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, spam, or infringing on someone else's rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to bypass payment, access controls, or the daily free limit;
• scrape, bulk-download or redistribute the joke collection;
• probe, disrupt or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
• use the Service for anything unlawful.

8. Our content

The site design, branding, audio files and the curated joke collection are protected by intellectual property rights. Enjoy them personally and share individual jokes freely; please do not republish the collection wholesale as your own.

9. Availability and disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may suspend it for maintenance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Where we terminate an account for a serious breach, premium access may be lost without refund.

11. Changes and contact
